Do you have a lot of friends on Smart and TNT? Well, guess what?! Sun Cellular now offers TU 300. It gives you unlimited Sun to Sun texts, 500 texts to other networks, and 5 hours of calls to Sun, Smart and TNT, valid for 30 days!

Update: Please note that the 5 hours of calls is divided into 3 hours of Sun-to-Sun calls and 2 hours of Sun-to-Sun/Smart/TNT calls.

Just text TU300 to 247.

And you know what I like about Sun Cellular’s unlimited promos? They give you the whole 30 days. For example, you loaded your cellphone on June 1 at 1:00pm. With Sun Cellular, I’ve noticed that your load will be good until June 30 11:59pm no matter what time you bought your load on June 1. I am so annoyed with Globe and Smart because if you load at June 1, 1:00pm, you better make sure you reload before 1:00pm on June 30! Or else, you’ll lose your previous load. In Tagalog, kakainin yung load mo. I used to think that you had until midnight of June 30 to reload your cellphone. BUT NO! Learned the hard way that Globe and Smart will eat your remaining credits.

And you know what else? When you reload your Globe or Smart phone, they don’t tell you your load balance! At least Sun will send you a text that includes this very important information. Globe and Smart will just send you a text telling you that your reload of X amount was successful. So they make you spend an extra P1.00 to do a Balance Inquiry. I’m not a die-hard Sun Cellular fan, but if you look at how they treat customers, Sun clearly wins for me. How I wish that Sun Cellular will maintain its pro-customer philosophy even after it was bought by Smart.

    This is NOT true, I recharged TU 300 and I only got 120 minutes to call smart/tnt. I called their service center and the representative advised me that you’ll not get the whole 5 hours to call smart/tnt subscribers, I advised the rep that their advertisement is misleading, the rep answered rudely and said that even a high school student would be able to understand that 500 min calls to SUN/SMART/TNXT doesnt meant that I can use all 500 mins to call smart and tnt subscribers. The rep said that the slash between sun, smart, tnt means division w/c I dont understand, as based on my understanding it means either/or. That’s why if its advertised that way it means it’s with the consumers if we’ll use all 500 mins to call sun, smart or tnt but still the calls to the 3 networks should sum up to 500 minutes, but the way how the rep expalined it upset me its because he made me feel stupid w/ the dispute im making about their offer…where in fact I wanted to question him of his educational attainment…

      You’re right! I am so sorry to tell you that I called up Sun’s Hotline and confirmed that the 5 hours is divided into 3 hours Sun-to-Sun calls and 2 hours Sun-to-Smart/TNT. The agent I talked to also told me that the promo will only be until August 30, 2012.

      I would not have known about this too if you had not told me. Since I am only using TU150, I did not know about the split between Sun-to-Sun and Sun-to-Smart/TNT. It is a bit misleading that they do not include this information more prominently in their ads and posters. I checked the poster above and the information about the breakdown of the 5 hours of calls is too small, I did not even notice it! Thank you for replying and letting us know.

      I am also very sorry to hear about your poor experience with the Sun rep. Some people really do not have any business working in customer service!

    their ads is MISLEADING THATS A BS MARKETING STRATEGY. Sayang pera ko sana yung 200 nalang ang ni load ko.

    check it again guys. i just had my TU300 renewed tonight. last month it was 3 hours sun to sun and 2 hours trio calls. NOW, it’s 3 hours sun to sun withj 2 hours calls to Smart, Talk N text, PLDT and Digitel.

      Hi Jef, sorry, I don’t know if the TU 300 promo is still available since I am back to TU 150. What you can do is try to register. If it’s still available, papasok naman siya. If it’s not available anymore, you will probably get a message telling you that the promo is no longer available and your load should not be deducted. Or you can call their customer service hotline at 395-8000.
