Aquafina is one of the more recognizable bottled water brands if you’ve traveled to the US or Canada. It is a product of PepsiCo, and it’s finally here in the Philippines!
Aquafina was launched at a party last week at the Ibiza Beach Club in BGC, with celebrities like Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach representing the brand. Kelly Misa-Fernandez, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, and Asia’s Next Top Model Winner Maureen Wroblewitz were also present.
While I try to bring my own water from home as much as I can, sometimes I just need to buy bottled water. Sometimes, it’s for a trip where it’s impractical to bring my own water, and other times, I did not bring any drinking water because I did not expect to be out so long. For those times, it’s nice to know that I’ll soon be able to choose Aquafina bottled water.
The Aquafina brand started in 1994, and has since won over consumers all around the world. Aquafina aims to change the game once again with it expansion to the Philippine market. “Filipinos always demand for quality and credibility and the is true when it comes to bottled water. With the continuously growing water category in the country, it’s high time for Filipinos to experience the pure water that Aquafina has to offer“, says Melai Lazaro-Javier, PepsiCo Category Manager for Juices & Water.
Aquafina water is purified using a patented HydRO-7 process – this is a 7-step purification that includes reverse osmosis, ozonation, carbon filtration, etc… These remove things like chlorides, salts and other substances that can affect the taste of water. With this, you’ll get pure water consistently every time you open an Aquafina.
And the price? Well, I was happy to see that Aquafina is competitively priced. It will soon be available in all leading supermarkets and grocery stores at P10.00 for 350mL, P15.00 for 500mL, and P24.00 for 1L.
